Black spots within Loanhead

Everywhere has its black spots, whether it's dumped rubbish, bad potholes, blocked sivers, obscured road signs or indeed anything which spoils the locality unneccessarily . We know these things are bound to happen from time to time. It's really annoying, though, when nothing is done about them after they've been reported.
The purpose of this page is to illustrate the various black spots we've been alerted to, so our Midlothian Councillors can see the "what" and "where" of them, and get something done about them. We'll be putting up pictures with dates attached, so we can see what progress is being made.

If you see something spoiling the town which you believe needs attended to, please use the contact page to send details. If you have a picture, email it to loanheadcc@gmail.com.

Early March 2011. Choked siver, High Street just below Arbuthnot Road. Pavement drying, ie rain has been off for quite a while.
